BADEN
Baden is the southernmost of Germany's wine regions, located in the famed "Black Forest " area. About 23% of the vineyards are planted in Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir), a red grape variety, which is used in Spätburgunder Weissherbst, a popular rose.

The Nahe wines have a clean, racy and fruity taste that is in good balance with their acidity. The one characteristic that distinguishes these wines from the other wine regions is the high mineral content in the soil which gives these wines an added dimension in taste.
