Oktoberfest
2007 Oktoberfest General Information:
In the week right after Labor Day of every year, Old Germany Restaurant, the
City of Choctaw and the Choctaw Chamber organize a
4-day Oktoberfest under 30,000 sq-ft of tents and pavillion featuring German food, beer, wine, dancing. There
were 2000 seats with some 40,000 people in attendance. Once again, this year Oktoberfest
was held at Choctaw Creek Park on Harper Rd. between
NE 23rd Street and NE 10th Street. It's a beautiful setting in a 160 acre

There was live German Music all 4 days from 5pm Wednesday and noon on
Thur - Sat, Wednesday night from 10pm to midnight we featured the music of
Mike Black and the Stingrays, Thursday night from 10pm to
midnight we featured "The Snakeshakers" to satisfy
our Rock and Blues cravings as well!
We serve Old Germany Restaurant foods like Smoked Porkchops
(Rippchen), Bratwurst, Smoked Bratwurst, Grilled Chickens, Schweinshaxen (Hamhocks),
Schnitzel Sandwiches, Apple Strudel, German beers and German wine. There
was a huge kids area so always bring your whole family. Admission for '07
was free. Parking was free as well.

2008 Oktoberfest Dates are: 3, 4, 5 & 6

- Wednesday 5 PM to Midnight
- Thursday Noon to Midnight
- Friday Noon to Midnight
- Saturday Noon to Midnight
