History of Old Germany Restaurant
On March 1, 1976 with
little left to lose but our last $300, my family opened Old Germany
Restaurant in Choctaw. Our limited menu included the usual fast
foods and one German dish--Wiener Schnitzel. It took time to
convince people that German food was more than just sausages
and sauerkraut and eventually our menu changed to all German
Cuisine. The original little restaurant is nestled between two
additions and seating has more than tripled.
To complement your
meal, we offer a selection of German beers and wines and we feature
some fine desserts from La Baguette. I hope you enjoy your visit
